No, there is no such requirement for married couples. You can apply as soon as you have all the required documents.

If you're legally married you do not have to live together to apply for spousal sponsorship.

The only time you have to live together for a year before applying is if you were to apply Common Law.

Seeing as you are going to get married you can apply as soon as you have a copy of your marriage certificate. :D

No. That is a rule for common law relationships not marriage. Married couples can apply right away after marrying but they will have to give sufficient proof of genuinity.
