If you're legally married you do not have to live together to apply for spousal sponsorship.

The only time you have to live together for a year before applying is if you were to apply Common Law.

Seeing as you are going to get married you can apply as soon as you have a copy of your marriage certificate.

No. That is a rule for common law relationships not marriage. Married couples can apply right away after marrying but they will have to give sufficient proof of genuinity.
