SINP is very complicated right now, so many people are moving to AB, even those who got PR ..

In my case it took almost 2 years to get SINP and apply for federal for PR. Now i am ok just waiting for my ECAS to change to in process and passport request..

I know for Ontario if you complete a two year program you can get 3 years PGWP and it its less than that you get equivalent amount of PGWP. (e.g. 16 month studies = 16 month PGWP). Also it depends on the program may people don't study in summer. I completed 4 terms (4x4 = 16 months) and worked over summer. As my program was a two-year masters program so I got 3 years PGWP. Hope this helps.

Thanks for respond spartacus, i have a question if i have the visa stamp on my passport for 4 years and lets say the study permit issued on the border was for 1 year, i can i remain in canada with visa stamp on passport or it gets automatically disabled and i have to stick to study permit paper?

Hello everyone, I should graduate next June in province of NB. I am on 2 years program and after graduation I am planing to move to Alberta. I was checking their provincial requirements and I have a question how to prove something like this in my application: "Clearly show in the application that you are able to and intend to live permanently in Alberta." I know it is maybe little to early to think about this since I have 10 months left before graduation, but I would appreciate if someone can tell me what should I do to prove that I am intending to live in Alberta? Thanks!

From SINP website, it looks at present processing time for international students is 4.1 months. It was 2.8 months few weeks back. If you have a good full time job and 6 months (or 960 hours exp.), I think Sask is not a bad option. I've friends who got sinp approved earlier this year pretty fast.

Why don't you guys choose BC PNP as the processing time for BC PNP is faster too.

Hi Everyone,

I am recent graduate from the University of Saskatchewan. The SINP did not approve my job and denied my employer's Job Approval Letter request. I'm now left wondering what to do next. How do I become eligible to apply to AINP or BC PNP?

Do I need to find a job in Alberta of BC?

I would really appreciate any comments.

Thanks in advance,
