Oh akcec !! ... That's good ... I'm optimistic and I WISH you the BEST !!
I advise you and your wife to read again what you have written in your application (the story and the other details). I'm assuming you guys have a copy of what you've written. This is a good exercise as they might ask you questions based on what you have filled in your application.

Also... I suggest to take with you to the interview any evidences... pictures, joint bank account, air tickets, hotel booking, etc. Just in case if they asked...

Are you the sponsor? Then I guess the interview is for your wife, not you - right? She would go alone with you - right?

Thank you waiting4him! I hope you also hear something soon.

I am the sponsor and my wife is attending the interview. Unfortunately I will be returning from Lebanon a week before the interview, but she should be OK. They also asked for additional documents to bring to the interview so will be preparing those together.

Do you know how long it takes for the passport request after the interview?

akcec - Once your wife submits her passport, then it takes 1 to 4 weeks. That's what I heard/noticed. Usually in 1-2 weeks though. I haven't heard at all that it is more than 4 weeks.

Yes! I hope to hear something soooooon. I'm in Canada and my husband is in Lebanon. This is very difficult.

You applied 26 /02/2015 so u must have done her Police records before that date, right?

If her interview goes well, and hopefully it will, they will contact her after a couple of weeks, maybe end of march early april and request updated police records.

From there it will take another month before you hear back, and depending if they extend her medical or not they may request that she do her meds again, after that there's like a 4 to 6 week wait before they issue a passport request. so Im thinking hopeful by May or June (depending if they ask for updated medical as well)

They asked to bring an updated police certificate to the interview.

I've heard of stories where they might give it to her on the spot! or they may respond in a couple of weeks with a PPR

You will need at least a full year to get the visa. He can't apply for sponsorship while on a tourist visa. You need to apply outland.
