I just want to ask you guys, a week ago, I sent the csq (certificat de selection du quebec) papers to the embassy in lebanon immigration section via Liban post.

how can I make sure that the embassy and the right department has received the envelop,

they should have gave you a tracking number you can check the status online. Otherwise you wont know untill you hear something from the office.

I recommend also to send it by case specific inquiry. I did that and received the ppr the second day

On cic website you can do case specific inquiry. You select the country and you attach the file but i think its not important anymore

They received my application on December 21st, started processing it on December 23rd and sent me an email on January 5th, 2016 telling me that I qualify as a sponsor and my application was forwarded to Beirut. My application status changed to "In Process" on February 18th, 2016 and still the same since then. Can anybody give me an estimate on how long it could take to get the visa from the date the status changes to In Process, based on their own experience or the experience of someone they know?

The majority of the people I know got it in 10 to 12 months after sending their application. But Trudeau is making some changes so it might be a little faster now. However, you should expect to wait a year or so.

I have two questions and I hope you can help me with solid answers.

1) I'm currently outside Canada and planning to stay outside for another two months, can my husband enters Canada without me being with him or being inside Canada ?!

2) Can my husband stay in Canada for 1 or 2 weeks to get his PR card request through, apply for a health card and a driver license, then travel outside Canada, in which one of our friends can access our mailing box in Canada and send us the PR card when it arrives by mail via DHL so my husband can re-enter Canada ?!
