Walla I see I can't be ++++ any more because I applied for my wife since April and I can't hold any more their careless and laziness they nevr mention any thing about security check only final review by familly officer for decision since 3rd of December 2012 1 month for that review as if my file is that big walla 3aib I don't have the desire any more to send them emails or any thing she be2arref
Sorry for all for my down and bad mood today but walla I can hold it more

Don't give up honestly...if you think negative it will only make you feel worse. Enshala soon we'll hear news that will bring our hopes up especially since we've waited 20 + months. It's extremely annoying having to send an email everyday with no response and feeling clueless as to what is going on. The only thing Beirut VO officers are good at is testing our patience, other than that they are just super lazy. Anyways, good luck to everyone and keep praying for good news !

Congrats to those receiving PPRS..Enshala for all of us. So after sending about 20 emails to the VO regarding status update since we mailed in the new Police certificates, I got this reply back today:

Dear MR. ____________

"This refers to your application for permanent resident visa...
You will be contacted when the application is ready to proceed to the next step, We are unable to give a specific time frame for the next stage in processing. Please keep us updated of any changes in the contact information. "

I am thinking they are working on our security checks. Can't wait for this process to end !!! Any thoughts would be much appreciated

What I think the delay in the processing of the old application only because when they closed the VO in damascuss they send by mistake some files to other VO. And when they get again the file to it's VO the send email responding to the emails for applicant as it happened with you.
That's my idea. And really it is boring Waiting such time know nothing about the file
For me they didn't mention any thing about security check for my wife only the file in queue for final review by familly class officer for final decision since December 3rd

Keko I think you are right because I once sent an email to Amman VO and they mentioned my file was still being processed at their office. When I ordered my first set of GCMS notes, its stated Beirut the VO processing our application.

Bonjourkoun ya jame3a, how is everybody doing. Too long for our process, im tired of it all. Today im at 19 months and one day. unfortunately many e-mails wno response from VO beirut.
The chart below shows how many applications VO Beirut had processes lat year.
YASS, kifak w sho a'7barak? leik try to go to www.data.gc.ca w shouf if you can get more information about Beirut applicants. fi wa7ad b amman chat forum got how many got refused w how many approved in the last 3 months. ana i tried bas i dont know how.
