Awesome news!!! Police certificate is quick to get (per my hubby hahah) just dont forget to get it translated! Is this the second medical test you are going to do?? Congrats on this step!! I really pray you get a speedy response like we did!! xoxoxo

Hi Marwah, we do not know the real answer for how long it will take till you get the PPR, but I suggest you get them the requested docs as soon as possible, the faster you move the faster they move! Best of luck, them contacting you means your file is open and they have to go throuh some procedures--no one truly knows why they ask for these documents, maybe it is to finalize their decision or maybe they are contemplating...I believe that these papers will finalize their decision!! Best of luck!!

We started processing your application on September 17, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

WOW, wow, WOW! I hope to God everyone feels this feeling!! I'm sure everyone can sit here and write a huge novel about their expierence during this process, but i'm happy to be done (my husband wants to wait till tmr to say he is done the process lol). Keep your head up everyone the end of this nightmare is almost over and we will all wake up!! xo

My file has been received in Damascus before 14 months exactly and I have recognized some changed on my ecas in the beginning of June. It seems they are working on June-July files

Ahh, I know I am just checking for some flights now..hoping to get him on a friday flight, cause I work during the week, so a weekend would be better! Thanks so much!!

And yess, I believe they have completed a lot of April/May files cause Haig (hubby) was noticing around 10-12 people at the embassy to pick up their files tmr all around his time (12 files a week its pretty decent! I think OCTOBER is there peak month..so now they have entered June/July months, and I believe the individuals that have been waiting for 20+ months are in the final days!!

They requested a new medical and lebanese police certificate + residency questionnaire within 30 days.
It seems they want to finish our files ASAP hehehe
I was reading all your posts and approximately all of us got an email from the embassy, I wish like Nairy we will all get our visas within 10 days.

yesterday my husband got this answer from the MP
"Kindly note that the file is under review by an officer. Mrs.... will be contacted shortly to advise her what is the next step for the processing of her application"

We do not know exactly what that means but I can just imagine how horrible you feel !!! But I really think you are so close to finishing..it sounds like there is another step? I think your MP just got a standard email stating that they will contact you if they need anything. Keeping you in my prayers.

Oh that sucks (( maybe cause your one month later and u just paid the fee they'll wait for the payment to process :/ my guess. Maybe u can try and email them in a week or two or a call. My husband picks up his passport tmr !

I wish it will not take long, I tought they extanded my medical : but it's ok
Till now they didn't ask any proofs about our relation maybe because my wedding is not civil ?!
who knows maybe after a while they will ask for more papers, that's why I am taking it easily
