I do not think you should email them at this point. All replies were clear. "Do not contact us"

even if you, do you think you are going to get anything useful? I doubt that.

And regarding the MPs, don't bother they are not helping but actually putting us down.

Lets wait till march and then we will probably get a better picture of whats going on.

no i don't have any news, however, I called the CIC to ask about my file, and they told me we don't have any news about ur file and you have to send an emil to the VO, but I sent and emil 3 months ago and no reply......looool and the funniest part that the CIC agent told me be patient DAMASCUS VO now takes 15 months !!!! I was like thaaaaank youu for giving me that news to make me HAPPY!! but since i know CIC agents talk whatever and dont know a lot about that...I try to be patient and wait and see what gonna happen in March

Hello All in Beirut Group,
I am new here and want to find out how long is taking to get a permanent resident visa. I got my file number in mid July 2011 from Damascus and now I guess my file is in Beirut.
I will try to get a visiting visa do you think they will give me???
