Alesco is one of the very unlucky ones... It has been 35 months since they received his file, he experienced the agony of having his file transferred to 3 different offices. Below is his timeline copied from the first post from him on this forum!

This guy went through a lot! I was always reading his posts... I am really glad that his agony is almost over! I am really happy for you Alesco! I am even surprised that he still have the energy to post here from time to time

For the rest of you, let Alesco be an example to all of you! 35 months, and he didn't kill himslef and he is still sane and outside of a mental institute

On another note, I know many cases like Alesco's, and those cases are why the published processing times are 22 months. I have a feeling that people who applied in 2013 should experience processing times between 12-16 months.

Soon_Canadian... We are all patiently waiting for some good news from your side, your the only one on the first 9 names in the spreadsheet that still has a yellow label!

So last week I emailed the embassy regarding my ecas changing to decision made 2 months ago,
and what that decision was and what the next step is and I got no reply from them. 2 days ago I sent another email and I received a reply today

"You are kindly requested to inform Mrs. .... .... that she needs to renew her passport and to provide us with a copy of the renewal so the visa officer can finalise the case. The copy of the renewed passport can be sent as attachment to this email."

No worries I called my MP twice and no one answered. I had emailed them, and I finally got a reply today asking me to call. I'm going to call them tomorrow and see.

i sent a copy of my passport upon their request last week . it was the first page of my passport wich shows that it has been expired on march 2013 but in fact it is still valid till 2018 and this is stamped on the renewal page ( the next page of the passport that i didnt send a copy for becoz u just reminded me of when i read ur reply .

Do u think that they see my passport now as expired and they may ask for renewal ?? will this slow down my process and they will wait me to mail them and ask as adam did??

it was really too long story i hope it will end soon, you can immagine how suffering, how painful it was. whatever
my e-case turned to in process in Dec.10.2013
Decision made not sure when exactly but it was in the last week of april.2014.

i can say i did graduate from the immigration college so if anyone has a question i can help with i will be glad to do that, or anything related to the interview.

After few weeks of trying to get a hold of the person that does the immigration inquiries at my MP's office and after calling and sending a "nice" email, I found out that I can actually go in their office and fill out a form to allow their office to release my information.

I just found out you gotta be a wolf or you will be eating by wolves --- doesnt matter where you live.

The somewhat nasty email would get where you want so people can start doing their work.

"If you are not going to answer my calls or messages when I kindly ask you so many times - then why do you offer that service of immigration inquiries"

Anyway 4 minutes after my nice email I got the person to call me and tell me what I need to do.

I will get you guys updated when I get through this.

They started processing on May 14th
