Good day. Been reading through the official immigration website but can't seem to get useful information about sponsoring a sibling. I have a brother (28yrs) at home who I would like to sponsor. Is it possible for me to do so? I am married with children.

No, he must qualify on his own.

You can't sponsor your brother through the family class. However you can be of help to him through other stream. Does your brother has a degree? Has he written any English Exam, like CELPIP or IELT? What province are you?

Yes. He has a B. Tech in Civil Engineering and presently studying for Post Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering. Am in Alberta. He hasn't written any of the exams.

Encourage to write IELT, that's pretty easy compare to CELPIP. If he has worked before in other fields, you can tell him to get a reference letter from his employer. The Alberta Express Entry is available at the moment
