A friend of mine is about to sponsor his wife ? He asked me weathere include bedroom pictures or not ? He refused to show me the pics as he claimed they are kinda x- rated...i believe he is doing a stupid thing..it might be offenSive to the vo....any input?

I don't think slamming your bodies together for a night or two with some pictures being taken are going to prove a relationship is genuine.

Seems pretty contrived and would raise a flag. You already know what color it is.

In my opinion , it is a bad idea. Be as wholesome as possible with the pics.

The VO is a random person.

You're a friend.

He won't show you the pictures, yet he wants to show the pictures to a VO.

That in itself is pretty... bad. You know how someone is about to make a bad decision at a party and they go, "Hey bro. Hold my drink." This is the equivalent. "I can't show you the pictures, but..."

i think that the bedroom pics are not a good idea ... might raise more questions, or flags as to the validity of the relationship, if these pics are vital to the proof of the relationship.

i think you should be able to prove the relationship is genuine, without needing x-rated bedroom pics to send to the random VO.

Bad idea. It makes the applicants look like they're trying too hard. It should go without saying (and without proof) that physical intimacy is happening in the relationship.

My husband and I joke about it all the time, but.... bad idea.

I have been seen others say that having children together doesn't prove your genuine relationship, it only proves that you have had sex... so if you ask me sending "bedroom" pictures will also only prove that you have sex and not that your relationship is genuine.

OMG this immigration process make people so desperate that there are willing to do anything. Where is the dignity ? This is pathetic. :o

IMHO this is a very bad idea to do so and I don't know about the laws in Canada but sending nude pics of yourself in some countries can be consider offensive and can get you in a lot of trouble.

It shows how desperate your friend is, to get visa that even he can disclose his wife's x-rated pics?:S
It can increase doubts.

Worst Idea

No, no, no! I would not do it, and you'd better tell your friend to forget that idea...don't risk it...

Heck, I have 2 pics of me and my wife sitting on a hotel bedroom (taken 1 day after our wedding day), FULLY CLOTHED, in a totally normal (non-sexual) position, and we decided against sending those pics....let alone sending x-rated pics... ;D

Tell him not to send the x-rated pics!

I am sure Visa Officer won't be able to work on your friend's file or anyone else's file for the whole day!

Please don't try to distract the officer and make the process longer for him and others :D

Better to send the pics to me first and then I can offer an opinion ;D :P

My husband had lots of pictures of us kissing each others cheek(am the one who snaped most of them) also 1of them french kissing, and we didnt take them to show vo at all but we just took them for fun and hapenned to have them for the vo. I think its cute and not rude, but anything more than that showing body parts would be bad, vo will be too excited to think properly lol ;) joke but seriously i think xrated is not a good idea. 8)

LOL! Bad idea. Romantic pictures are ok. We sent in some pictures from our honeymoon - at the beach holding hands etc. Definitely G rated!
