I have seen only one appeal where bedroom pictures were mentioned. It was definitely a bad idea. The photos seemed to raise doubts in the vo's mind about whether the relationship was genuine - that is, the vo thought it made the couple look desperate (for a visa).

LOL! Bad idea. Romantic pictures are ok. We sent in some pictures from our honeymoon - at the beach holding hands etc. Definitely G rated!

It started storming on our wedding day and the photographer had the idea of taking photos of us in our bathrobes on our bed. The resort had spelled out "LOVE" in flowers on the bed. I'm submitting the one of us looking dreamily into each others eyes and clicking champagne glasses. It's g-rated, like a photo in a resort brochure.

You cant prove its for real and they cant prove its not- HOWEVER, they hold the cards

Alright.

The VO is going to more than likely be offended by any kind of blatant, flagrant display of obvious sex or lust filled motions of intimacy. I don't think the VO, working from behind a desk, is going to be looking at those photos and go, "Oh, wow, they really love eachother." No, he's going to swear, think "What is this?", take those glasses off of his head and rub his face. He's going to then have a negative reaction for the rest of the application.

It can also tell the VO that one is paying the other for the submittal of this application and subsequent sponsorship with sex. They're VOs. That is how they're going to think. Worst case is always possible and if it is extremely possible, they'll think it.

I understand the whole, "Show 'em what'cha got!" thing to prove that you two have something going down, but it is already assumed. Don't show him that or he'll think everything is contrived and staged.

different strokes for different folks...i submitted family friendly pics, pics of the kids, outings, TONES of pics and ONE semi nude pic to each his or her own...



Guess we just had a kick ass application and visa officer....my husband always says its cause we compliment each other perfectly....and that even the blind can see that.
