Hi everyone. I'm having some confusion in understanding the eligibility requirements of one of the BC-PNP stream "International Post Graduate". I'm confused that whether the eligibility says that I have to complete Masters from institution in BC or just that my program is eligible as in institution in BC ? I have completed my Masters form Pakistan (outside Canada). Do I have to complete degree from institution in BC or just that my program is eligible ? Also in their eligibility requirement they mentioned programs that are eligible. I've done "Master of Science" in Electrical Engineering and they have mentioned "Master of Applied Science" and "Master of Engineering" in Electrical Engineering. I don't know are they same or different ?
Can anyone please help me understand these requirements ?
I'm displaying the requirements below as mentioned in their website.

-------> START
The International Post-Graduate stream is for recent graduates of an eligible B.C. post-secondary institution with an eligible master’s or doctoral degree. PhD candidates at a public B.C. post-secondary institution may also be eligible.

You do not need a job offer from an employer to apply to this stream.

You do not need to register for this stream. If you meet eligibility requirements, you can apply directly to the BC PNP.
Eligibility
To qualify for this stream, you must have obtained eligible graduate-level education from an eligible program of study at a post-secondary institution in B.C. in the last three years.

Eligible education includes:
  • Master’s degrees in an eligible program in the natural, applied or health sciences disciplines from a B.C. post-secondary institution. Please see the BC PNP IPG Programs of Study in Eligible Fields for more information
  • Doctoral degrees in any field of study from a public B.C. post-secondary institution
  • PhD students in any field of study who have been admitted to candidacy at a public B.C. post-secondary institution
You must also demonstrate that you have the ability and intent to live, work and economically establish in B.C.

I downloaded the guide for BCPNP - International Post Graduate and this is what was written in it.

Master’s level programs at public post-secondary institutions
The table below identifies master’s level programs of study at public post-secondary institutions
within the natural, health and applied sciences fields that may be eligible for the International

Did you do complete any education in BC? If so, for this stream you needed to have completed your Masters, Doctoral or Phd at a BC institution. Read the first line of the eligibility requirements says IN BC.

I've completed my Masters degree but I've done it from Pakistan. I never studied in any institution in BC before

So you are not eligible. This stream is for those international students who did a Masters, Phd in BC in one of the stated fields.

To qualify for this stream, you must have obtained eligible graduate-level education from an eligible program of study at a post-secondary institution in B.C. in the last three years.
