Hey guys :),

I am a Canadian PR since 3years and thinking of moving to Quebec (Montreal probably).

I am just a bit confused to if I need anything in particular before moving officially. I know as PR I am allowed to work/study about anywhere in Canada but any help/opinion is much appreciated.

Thank you :)

All you need is to change you adress, it is as simple as that . I actually moved from Vancouver to Montreal. But, don't forget to pay your BC healthcare inssurance couverage for the 3 months before you get the "carte soleil" which is the healthcare card of Quebec. Hope it can help.

Do I understand correctly? Is it necessary to continue paying into BC MSP for 3 months after moving to Montreal?

Yes the 3 months until you get health care in Quebec. Otherwise, they will take the money directely from you taxes as happened to me
