If median was the industry standard for a wage then why even bother putting a low section.. the job bank just gives the pnp folks a idea that this is what something one is getting paid for a position under that NOC Code..

For example NOC 0621 Whole sale and trade managers there are like tons of positions.. not every position will get paid $26.00 which this the median in that NOC code.. the lowest wage in that NOC is $14.40. Not everyone gets paid the same.. if you have too many duties and your pay ends up being really low.. it might compelling for the PNP folks to reject your application. MOREOVER they ask you this question when they call your employer.. if he isnt able to justify the answer as to why you are getting paid that much then you have a problem.

Hi guys,
I have question please help me.I got nominated for BC PNP today and I will be eligible for express entry as well in March 2017. I want to apply permanent Residence application through Express entry since it is way faster than paper file.

Please suggest me what should I do? should I made a express entry account and wait for invitaion or should I process my file through BC PNP nomination.I dont know which way is better.

Please check if your nomination sayd - Not eligible for Express Entry. As far as I know you must have EE profile created before you apply via PNP

For starters according to the program hand book,your time line is 2 years after graduation to apply under the International graduate category,I was having a coffee with one of the program advisor s I know at the Blenz at the ground floor of the BC PNP building and He told me that there is no wiggle room,after your time is up,you can still apply.But as a skilled worker not an International graduate

I applied for BCPNP on dec 2016, PNP requested my pay statement on feb 9, My employer sent all documents on 22 feb. Today status changed from In process to Decision finalized but i havent received any email yet. Does this happen to anyone else?

I waited 10 days until I got my certification

Sad to say,in manyt cases according to the program advisor I know,It will be refused for not meeting the median,Page 14 of the program guide states that the salary in the offer must meet industry standards

I got PNP NOMINATION Email today. Finally got BC PNP.

Timeline:

Applied on 21st Dec
Send additional document on 5th Jan
Decision finalized on Feb 22
And Finally got email today on 1st March(after 1 week), confirming my nomination

Guys,

I am filing up my registration on CIC website and I getting confused about how my "annual income" can be calculated?

Does it has to be based on 40 hours a week in general or if I actually get to work 35 hours a week then I need to calculate my income as "35 hours * 52 weeks * hourly wage"?


Plus, regarding Hours of work per week - On average, in a 52 week period , lets say if I put 35 hours a week (on average) in the file, then is that okay if I actually get to work sometimes 30 hours or even 40 hours a week?

That is true BUT they are lenient on international graduates.Try that with a skilled worker and they are harsher.I know of 2 skilled workers from Iran and China denied because salary was below median.One was a Administrative officer offered 20$ an hour NOC 1221 below the median and the other was a cook supposed to work supposed to work for 11.75$ an hour which was also below median.One was already a TFW in Canada and the other one was still a foreign national overseas
