If median was the industry standard for a wage then why even bother putting a low section.. the job bank just gives the pnp folks a idea that this is what something one is getting paid for a position under that NOC Code..
For example NOC 0621 Whole sale and trade managers there are like tons of positions.. not every position will get paid $26.00 which this the median in that NOC code.. the lowest wage in that NOC is $14.40. Not everyone gets paid the same.. if you have too many duties and your pay ends up being really low.. it might compelling for the PNP folks to reject your application. MOREOVER they ask you this question when they call your employer.. if he isnt able to justify the answer as to why you are getting paid that much then you have a problem.
