Hi guys, I'm new here. I am currently on a work permit working in Canada and applied for my Permanent Residency through the BC PNP. My application was submitted outside of Canada to the Buffalo office but when they closed they transferred my file to Ottawa.

Been waiting for a while and finally saw my status change from In Process to Decision made. Also last year in April, I applied to get my TRV renewed but it got denied. That TRV application was rejected around the same time as they received my application for permanent residence. Does that affect my PR application?

Here are the updates.

1.We received your application for permanent residence on April 23, 2012.

2.We started processing your application on June 4, 2013.

3.Medical results have been received.

4.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

They have not requested for my passport but I'm already in Canada. Not sure how this works.

How long before I can expect to hear from them? Is this a good sign or neutral? From my understanding it could go either way.

Thanks

Have you over stayed your visa? If so I don't know what to tell except to wait and see what CIC tells you. Have you called the call center and explained your situation?
