Hello dearest colleagues,
I currently live in Vancouver with an OWP and recently received a job offer for a position that fits the NOC 2141. I was hoping if you guys would help me with some questions.

1- Can I apply for for BC PNP?
2- If yes, does my job offer needs to state the NOC?
3- Is the employer obliged to present an LMIA?

I have a bachelor's degree in Control and Automation Engineering from my home country (Brazil), and I am currently living here with my wife, who is taking an MBA course.

Thanks so much for your attention!

Did you check BC PNP requirements? 3 is a reasonable question, but because you're on an OWP you don't need an LMIA.

1. If you and your employer are eligible. Assume your employer is willing to support your nomination.
2. Requirements are on the website. Your employer has to fill out several forms.
3. You don’t need a LMIA but employer will have to show that couldn’t hire any Canadian or PR.

Thanks everyone for the help and attention! @Naturgrl, thanks for such a complete answer! I have downloaded the BC PNP guide and saw how the employer should describe the efforts to recruit locally!
Thanks!

Yes, its pretty straightforward. My employer just attached a 2-page screenshot of their job posting in Indeed, and that's it. They also need to fill-up details in the form declaring how many people applied and got interviewed, and they also need to put in the recommendation letter why they chose you.
