To be fair and transparent to those people already in the inventory the BC PNP will limit the number of new Skills Immigration applications to 200 for the rest of 2015.

I assume this 200 includes all EEBC and Healthcare categories, is that correct?

This is not correct !!! that 200 new application quota was only for normal PNP not EE. Keep in mind that BC EE PNP is totaly different than normal PNP you can apply under EE but they are not accepting new applications for normal PNP they will open new intake for normal PNP in 2016 with new Rules...
Go to welocmebc.ca and check requirements for EE PNP

2) Skilled immigration category is now available ONLY for Health Care Professionals and Northeast Pilot Project.
3) The BC PNP Express Entry has reached the limit of 200 new Skills Immigration applications for 2015 and is not currently accepting applications in any other Skills Immigration categories (direct quote from the link above)

This means that Calvinwang2012 is correct. However Clavin, since you are a Healthcare professional, you are still eligible to apply.

I just graduated and thinking of applying for PNP by the beginning of 2016. Here is my profile:

*2 years Master's program from BC
*1 year previous experience in IT industry back home in India
*Full time job offer as a Retail Store Supervisor : (NOC 6211): Will have 3 months of exp before applying for EE PNP.

Now I am confused with the experience, coz if we talk about previous exp in last 10 years. both are different, 1 is in IT industry (NOC 0124) O level. Other canadian exp is in B level.. Can anybody guide me what to do? how can I apply? and should i hire any consultant or lawyer in it?

Any help would be extremely appreciated!

where did u find in "written" that bc express entry has reached 200 new applications for skill immigration.... Canu provide the link or copy and paste the information here...

Express Entry is totally different from normal pnp and if u eligible for express entry you can apply

I think your experience should b same ... Like if you are applying on supervisor job then you should have one year experience of supervisor job ....

Oh thats bad, I thought we can count both jobs. So its better I should apply under Normal BC PNP rather than EE. What you suggest?

I think u should make profile for express entry and put information in and then see how many points u got if got arround 450 then u should go for ee ... Otherwise upto u ... I don't recommend normal pnp coz it takes so long ... And who know they r gonna open in 2016 or not ..?? Or what will they make new rules like easy or hard.... Do one more thing visit to bc pnp office and ask ur questions they will answer u properly they r so nice people... They will listen to u properly and answer ur questions politely.... Or u can email them ... But in email they might not explain things clearly....

I just feel the need to let out my frustration.

I feel incredibly stressed out by the processing times - my work permit expires Aug 2016, and the processing time is 14-16 months. I worry about this every single day. What if I don't hear back from them by then? I can't just pack my stuff and leave my job... I've lived here for almost 8 years now, and the thought of having to drop everything and leave just because they couldn't process my application in 16 months makes me ill.

I really wish CIC would give us PGWP for four years, not three! I don't understand why we only get PGWP for a max. of 3 years when other temp. foreign workers have four years (arent we technically temp foreign workers anyway?). It's unfair, and especially considering how long the wait time is now, it's just not enough time (it took me a long time to find a job that was eligible for PNP).

At the very least, the PNP should seriously give consideration to applicants whose work permits are expiring and have PATIENTLY WAITED for over a year! It's such a horrible system... Hiring more staff to improve processing times? Yeah right..... %&^@*^(&@)

As far as I know that you can't change employers if you have already applied bc pnp... U should stick with current employer... If u going to another employer then u have to submit ur file again with new employer....

I just want to tell you that you can change as many emolyer as you want , thats obvious if you are getting opportunity you will go for that. Just submit new business documents and a letter in which you will mention that i am switching my employer due to these reasons.and new job offer form where your employer will sign and reference letter from your employer sidr. And they will attach that to your file and then you will be all good. Do not need to be stressed out . Its simple so take it easy.

Hello everyone i am asking this question on the behalf of my friend....
he is working as an assistant manager and he was telling me that may b his boss will sell the store next year... He already applied bc pnp in February 2015.... My question is that what will happen to his bc pnp file if his boss sell the business.... Or suppose he got nomination and applied for PR and then his boss sell the business what will happen to his file in both cases... What he need to do then or he can do something before so that what he can do in advance to avoid any trouble??? Please and Thanks.....

Hope this helps someone. read on

1. Application sent June 21 2015 under express entry BCPNP
2. work permits expire on July 27th 2015
3. Approached local MLA and MP on June 22 2015 and they asked us to apply for extension to keep our status
4. application for work permit sent on july 9th 2015
5. Express entry (federal) ITA received on July 17 2015
6. call received from BCPNP on July 19 2015 informing that since they can't see our profile in the EE (federal) pool
our application will now be considered under regular BCPNP
(FYI : once you receive an ITA with federal EE your profile is not in the pool anymore)
7. nomination received on aug 8 2015 with the work permit extension support letter given only for myself but not the spouse.
8. found out that MLA's office helped push the application.
9. EE federal status : background check in progress, medical passed and no additional documents needed (aug 8 2015)

question : how do I get Vegreville to accept the PNP nomination for work permit extension?
