Hi everyone

I need your help guyz. My friend applied for regular pnp in this February. Her work permit got expired in the end of August. She applied to extend the work permit but got refusal and they advised to apply for restoration in 90 days. Her employer refused to give her LMIA. Her lawyer said he will apply for work permit or visitor visa that will take around 9 months ( coz he thinks he gonna apply for restoration first in November and that will take 3 months to process and then she will get visitor or work permit( this process will take 3 months too).

Now the confusion is while they are doing this all stuff, Are the pnp people gonna continue to process her application till next year?? or they gonna send her email in few weeks that sorry we cant process ur application because ur work permit has expired.

Yes, they are going to process her application but the thing is that's her employer who is sponsoring her for pnp has to tell pnp officer (who is going to call) that he'll wait for her and give her job back because she was on tourist status and wasn't able to work....

My question is that if my employer sell his business or he is not the owner of that business anymore... What should i do? Do i have to find another employer ? What will happen to my old file do i need to apply pnp again in 2016?
Second scenario is that suppose i got pnp nomination and pr file is in process what will happen then? Do i need to find another employer ? Do i need to apply pnp again? What should i do in this situation? I heard that my employer is going to sell his business next year or his lease with company ( esso) going to finish next year! Do you know if the new employer gonna keep your position as an assitant manager ? if yes then you to contact the bc pnp and tell them about your situation. they will need new information like employers details and other corporate documents. but if he does not want you to work as assitant manager then it may create a problem.

PR is different process, once you get the nomination you can change the employer but cannot change the province.

I dont think any internal changes happening in your company should b an issue as long as u are still continue to have the same job with the same company ....

I have no idea yet that if I got new Boss will he continue to supporting me as an assistant manager or not? Can I go for lower job like if my new boss may hire me as a supervisor ? for new boss or in any other company even I applied as an assistant manager can I go for lower rank job....?

Where did you hear that they are processing December applicants?

I submitted 11 December 2014, but still no word, actually only expecting to hear something by Jan-Feb 2016. As per the Welcomebc website, it states that Sept-Dec 2014 applicants processing time is 12-14 months. In other words, they are probably only processing Sept 2014 applicants at this stage...MAYBE.

He/she said

"I just got my nomination!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I understand everybody should consider 12 months in total before they get decision .... I have applied in March 15 so may b near or after March 16 I will get something......
