Hello All,

My husband just got a job offer for a teacher. But its a 1 year contract job and the offer letter says "1 year contract with option to renew". Can I still apply for BC PNP ?

Please help.

Thanks
JW

So you use ”I”, how are you eligible if it is your husband with the contract? All requirements for applicant and employer (sponsoring) are in the program guide on the website.

Sorry, it was a typo-- Can he apply for BC PNP if its a contract position with option to renew ?
Depends on the stream and whether the employer meets the criteria and is willing to support the job offer/nomination. Go through the program guide and it will answer your questions.

Its a elementary school teaching position. And what employer has to do to support to job offer ? Do they have to pay for anything or just provide the documents ?

You want to apply through BC PNP which requires a full-time job offer with no end date and the employer must fill out a job form to support your spouse’s application. Read through the requirements

thanks for your reply. I read in the requirements that the job offer should be permanent or indeterminate. When the job offer says contract with option of renew, will it be considered as indeterminate ?

That is not indeterminate. Option to renew is definite.
