Hey guys,

I applied to BCPNP on Sept 24th via semi-skilled/entry level worker. Got my confirmation of receipt email on Nov 8th and received my approval letter and information guide Dec 20th.
My current visa (working holiday visa) expires in April and I have the supporting letter to extend but how do I go about extending it? Boarder or online? And is the supporting letter all I need to extend my visa or do I need to reach another stage/have any other documents?
Any information would be great! Otherwise I'll attempt to call CIC after the new year.

Ur timeline same as me.....but i didnt receive anything from them.

Did you receive any phn call or email about ur file for further information before 20 dec.?

I m soooooooo nervous....dont kwn what to do?

Dear AmyB...

You should go to boarder with work permit support letter and job offer letter from ur employer
And also bring ur existing workpermit with u.......

lovykaler - My timeline is exactly the same and I have had no news at all.. No idea why they are taking so long. My application reached on 19th September and my 14 weeks will be over in next 2 days !! Its strange

I didn't receive any phonecalls from them or requests for more information before I got my acceptance letter. I was pretty thorough with my application and included everything possibly relevant though.

This information will be highly appreciated and helpful to many of us ..... Secondly did anyone include their spouses or children in their pnp application? This may influence the processing time ........

Update on my file:

Today is the last day of 14th week of my file. I called them and asked them about update and they said that my file has not been assigned yet. So they dont know how long it will take still. So 10-14 weeks is lie.

First they said 10-12 weeks and they said this in written.
Then they changed it to 12-14 weeks.
Now after 14 weeks, the file has not been assigned yet.

So, doesn't matter what they write or say, there is no surity how long they will take. Their processing time is now longer than Ontario.

Seriously disappointed. If they will give me my money back, I would love to withdraw my application.

Your file should have been assigned since your file no. was issued. That doesn't make any sense. If that's true, I would also be very disappointed of them. I'm counting the days everyday based on the 12-14 weeks they say.
