Hi guys...

Yesterday i got email from bcpnp office stating that you are not eligible accd. To the requirement of internationl graduates stream. So i am not satisfied with your file.

The officer also mention that....
If i consider you as a skilled worker category. In this stream applicants must have post sec. Education and several years of directly related work experiance. But you have approx. 5 months of work experience.

If you want to provide any information you have time till 9 jan 2014. Otherwise decision made according to the present file.

Guys ...now me and my employer are writing a letter to officer from my employer side.

For what reason did they say you not eligible under the graduate stream? If you disagree call them or if no reasons where given again call them. You need to know so you can address any mistakes or provide more information.
Ask to speak with the case officer assigned to your file or email them directly. You will have there name and email from yesterday now

If you don't disagree then your employer needs to convince the PNP office that they need to keep you.

Hey loveykaler i discussed your matter but there should not be a big problem unless and until you have send all your documents needed by them you are applying under international graduate stream same as mine just be calm send them a letter with whole brief out of your job sal hours of working your position and ask your employer to even try to add more about your skills as your honesty hard work trust n all definitely they will look into consideration. Try asking bcpnp if they need you can submit your paystubbs and T4 too

There must be some reasons why they state you are not eligible. If your application is incomplete, they ask for what is missing but wouldn't say you are not eligible. So probably you know why but we don't, and now all you can do is to count on your employer. Ask your employer to contact your case advisor

They have said that his application is not eligible under the international graduate stream though.
So the case officer is assessing the application under the skilled worker stream of the BC PNP instead which requires several years of direct work experience which lovykaler does not have.

The first thing to do is find out why they believe lovykaler is not eligible under the international graduate stream. Its not possible to address the issues if you don't know what they are.

I agree contact you case officer direct and have your employer call them too

Officer gave me reason that you spend more than one quarter of the program time in co-op internship. So you not meet the requirement of this stream.

Today my employer send him a supporting letter. Lets see what happen..

Guys - Can someone please answer this for me ?

I intend to come to canada on a working holiday visa and then apply for permanent resident visa through the provincial nominee program. I already have an employer who is ready to apply for my pnp in the next few days and I will get it before I land.

- is it possible for me to apply for immigration through the PNP program while I am on a working holiday visa ? what difference will it make if i choose for it to be processed in canada or in Sydney as I am australian.
- if I get nominated by pnp proir to my landing in canada - can I still apply for open work permit through the IEC program instead of using the work permit support letter from PNP? The reason I want to do this is because my intention is to travel all around canada and work for different employers before I get settled with the one who has nominated me. My employer is happy wth that and is happy for me to start as soon as I get my permanent residency. Do you think this is okay ? I am not going to apply for my PR before I land i canada even if I get nominated.

There's no problems with applying for PR whilst on an IEC, plenty of people do it. You could enter on an IEC visa, no need to have a closed visa if your eligible for the IEC.

If you have been lawfully admitted to Canada for 1 year you can choose Ottawa or Sydney as the visa office to process your application. However if you apply for PR before you come to Canada you can not choose Ottawa. The processing time at Sydney is currently quicker than at Ottawa; 12 months vs 17 right now. If requested to attend an interview and you choose Sydney you would need to go back to Australia for the interview but it's extremely unlikely such a thing would be requested.

Is it BC your applying to? If so you might have noticed that the processing time for nomination is hitting almost 4 months right now
