Anyone knows if there is no problem to travel outside of Canada while my PR application is on process?

I am registering for my PNP - International Graduate really soon and I am also planning to travel to Europe for about 2 weeks with my family this summer.

I will be working on my PGWP which is valid until next November but still.... curious about it.

Hi people,
Thanks for sharing your experiences :). I plan to apply under the International Post Graduate category and I am working as an Energy Manager.
My bachelors is from Mumbai University and Masters from UBC. Following are my queries:
1) Do I need to get my bachelors transcripts evaluated by WES before applying?
2) Do I need to maintain funds for at least 3 months? or the duration isn't that important?
3) As far as police verification is concerned, I heard we have to apply through BLS (for Indian Police verification) as well as through RCMP (for Canadian records). Is that true?

Thanks guys.

1. You don't need wes for BC PNP since you have UBC masters.
2. You don't have to maintain funds, just give a number.
3. You don't need police reports for BC PNP stage, you need Indian Police report for CIC stage, RCMP is not required when you submit your application, but CIC may require you to submit a record when there is a name match in RCMP criminal check.

Thank you very much brother! Did you apply under the same category ? Just curious to know.

Hi there, Every BC PNP applicant must read

I would like to let you guys know one thing, BC PNP is holding 20% of applications (20% applications are people who apply through consultancy)

I just came to know that people who apply by their own are getting nomination sooner than who apply through consultancy.

In fact, me and four of my friends graduated from the same university, registered for BC PNP, got invited and submitted application on the same date, but among five, three have applied by their own and got the nomination with in a month. two of us (including me) applied though consultancy in November (over four months) still no response from BC PNP.

So sad >:(

Are you sure about that? Why would they do so?

That's a wild claim if you and your friend did not get it does not mean it is how it works.. CIC is a waiting game.. sometimes the wait is way to long. For BC PNP they have their office here

BC Provincial Nominee Program Office
450 - 605 Robson Street
Vancouver, BC V6B 5J3
Canada
Fax: (604) 660-4092
Phone: (604) 775-2227

Go there call them .. sometimes the officer for your and your friends file could be the same.

I applied though a consultant for BC PNP International graduate category.
Invitation to apply: FEBURARY 3, 2017
Applied: FEBURARY 21, 2017
Got an email from them asking for more documents: March 2, 2017
My consultant sent them the documents CC-ing me and my employer: March 7, 2017.

What do you think how many months it gonna take?

Honestly i don't know could be done sooner than you think.. with BCPNP and CIC i cant even begin to predict what they do.. paper based applications have always been so slow with them for god knows what reason..

your result will come soon.. hopefully end of this month or in starting of April.
BC PNP internaational graduate category is quick.

BC PNP sent me an email asking for another job offer because I was on probation period. In the email they said "To be eligible for BC PNP your job should be full time and indeterminate. If that's the case then please send revised offer letter". My employer said they can't issue another job offer letter so they gave me an employment verification letter stating that I passed the probation period and now my position is full time and indeterminate. I sent that letter on top of the old offer letter. Is that okay?
