Thanks, I saw that. It is just that those bar codes pages are numbered and it is odd to put them on top of the application.

Anyway, do I put all the Bar Code pages from all Forms together on the top of the Application?

I know - it felt strange for me too. It's the new system - they scan the bar codes when they open your application and it sends an AOR ( more or less automatically) - so it reduces the risk of errors, and it will hopefully improve the process, and decrease waiting time.

I placed all of mine on top of my application, all together. They probably replace them in the order they want them if needed afterwards.

Good luck,
Sweden

Just want to be 100% certain.... So by, placed on top, you mean, the employee of CIC-M opens my envelope from Canada Post and the first thing they see are the two sets of bar codes.... Not a table of contents, showing bar codes being the first item, but the bar codes themselves.?

yes - that's what CIC wants. BUT - if you have done it another way, don't worry about it. Many people didn't see that it was supposed to be on the top, and they still got approved. But if you want to make CIC's job easier, then put the barcodes on the top.
Good luck!

Thanks for the clarification. I will be sending the application within the next 2 weeks before August is finished (I HOPE!) so I'll definitely put the bar codes on the very top.

I wish I would have known this info before I sent my app in, I put the bar codes on top of the forms they belong to, but then put those forms each in their own folders. Oh well, I tried to make their job easier a bunch of other ways so hopefully they don't get annoyed with me haha

I did the same thing.

When I read that line on the guide, I accidentally read 'on top of the forms' meaning the barcode for IMM 008 goes on top of the written forms for IMM 008.. Oh well- all the forms are in order of the checklist, which apparently they updated in June. Nothing has changed except they worded things differently here and there. Still, I downloaded it and printed it out to replace the older one. This process has made me super paranoid about everything!

I read you had to put them on top, but because they were numbered, felt weird having them out of order, so didn't.
No doubt I will annoy someone too - oh well I am sure CIC are used to flicking through applications to find them!
