You can not go to Calgary directly as your POE is Toronto.....you need to go Calgary through a connecting flight.....what will happen....you need to land in Toronto...after completing all your arriving and immigration formalities you catch your connecting flight to Calgary......

1. You need to enter through Saskatoon...then you can go anywhere...but remember wherever you go....you need to give them the address where you really wanna settle .... cz every document [PR card/SIN card/Health card] will go to that address

2. Depends where are you going....if its GTA come here in July/August

3. You can choose any agency...but try to go through IOM....that is cheaper than any other...but one way only

4. in economic contest try get air....

5. Depend when you wanna go...cz now a days fair changes everyday....

6. you can try through Turkey in turkish airlines...that is the fastest route including stop over i guess

Another good news for this forum-
One of our forum mate has been received MR+PPR+RPRF 2/3 days back.
I'm not disclosing the name since it's depend on receiver's only.

But a big CONGRATULATIONS for him and praying for others who are still in IP/RBVO stage.

Also my request to all, please keep me in your prayer, so that I can get the PPR by the wish of Allah.

Dear Expert and experience forum members, I have little experience about air ticketing. So I have some queries in my mind. I eagerly expect the answer of the following questions regarding air ticketing and other issues -

1. In my application the destination place was mentioned in SK, Saskatoon. Can I go anywhere other than Quebec? OR First time will I have to enter into SK, Saskatoon then after few days/months I can any where and settle.

2. What time is suitable for going to Canada?

3. Where( which agency/office) can I by my air ticket?

4. Which airlines is better in the context of economic issue?

5. How long will I have to buy air ticket before going date?

6. Which route is suitable for time consuming and comfortable?

Hi,
1. You can land any where in Canada except Quebec. In my application it was same as you and I have landed in Ottawa and there was no problem.
2. Summer is better but mind your visa expiry date.
3. Try to go through IOM
4. It will be a long trip so I will say go for better air regardless of price, normally Jet air is cheap
5. You can bye ticket any time but normally its 6 months before
6. I used Emirates Dhaka-Dubai-London-Ottawa, so completely personal choice

I wanna settle in Calgary.

Hi,
As FSW applicant you can land any where in Canada except Quebec. In my application it was Saskatoon, SK but I landed in Ottawa. I landed in Ottawa with the advice of visa officer, I emailed him and he clearly replied me that I can land any where in Canada except Quebec. So you can land in Calgary without any problem.

One important question that I think a lot of people have in their minds. How are you people taking settlement funds from BD to Canada, given the 5000 dollar restriction for taking dollars out to Non-SAARC countries? How are we supposed to take more than that amount legally?

Any insights?
