Dear Experienced forum mates,
I submitted med in 22 Jul'14 and updated information+PCC+landing fee+ Fund statement in 08 Aug'14. By this time, I sent a request to correct my present address as provided updated form in the online status on 26 Sept'14.
I'm thinking to send a CSI for passport request since it is 5 moths over after submission of Med. I'm seeking suggestion from you whether I should send it now or need to wait more. I'm little bit confused to inquire now.

Sometime in ECAS they give status wrongly. Or they don't upload the actual status accordingly. So, one should not afraid about seeing wrongly uploaded ECAS. It would better trust with VFS tracking as well as their(VFS) SMS or email, they send to him/her.

MI2 was issued on June 26, 2010 and introduced a number of changes to the processing of FSW applications, including a revised list of eligible occupations (29 instead of 38); an annual cap of 20,000 on the total number of new applications to be considered for processing in the FSW class per year, with no more than 1,000 applications in any one of the 29 occupations; and revised eligibility criteria with respect to evidence of official language proficiency and work experience. In addition, the stream for temporary foreign workers and international students living in Canada for one year (FSW3) was eliminated due to concerns about overlap with the Canadian Experience Class and the Provincial Nominee Program, both of which target similar pools of applicants.

Things to do before migrating to Canada

Dear all,
This is Rakib from Ontario Canada. Its almost been a year since I arrived here ( 23-Nov-2013). I strongly recommend the following issues to be considered by you before migrating to Canada:

1.Driving license: It is a need, not a luxury. If you do not have driving experience in Bangladesh, do NOT put much effort on it in Bangladesh. Driving rules are different in Canada. So it is better to take lesson in Canada.

Get the G1 license ASAP after coming to Canada.

2.Bring with you vitamin B complex, vitamin D and Zinc sufficient to cover for 2 years. Do not bring excess antibiotics. Due to less exposure to sunlight, serum vitamin D level gets lower commonly in Canada.

3. If you have plan for study, explore your options while in Bangladesh and apply ASAP either from Bangladesh or soon after arriving to Canada.

Migrating to a new country is always challenging. So set your mind accordingly. Be determined to face any odds.

Invest your time to increase your listening skill, with attention to canadian accent.

Sharing a good news..On 20th Dec night i found my ECAS has been changed to "Decision made" and in VFS tracking it is showing "Your Decision has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office, Singapore on 19th".

Sept 5 applicant. DD encashed 2nd Dec. Still no PER. I have found in SS one same date, same NOC got PER 17th Dec.

I am felling worried... what do u think ? when i can received PER (inshaallah) ?

Got passport with Visa

Alhamdulillah, collect passport with visa from VFS. Now the main challenging part will start.

8th Dec Application returned Due to my mistake in Generic form.

2014

May 26th Application reached @ CIO
Sep 9th DD encased
Sep 17th Received PER from CIC
Nov 3rd Received AOR from SGVO
Nov 12th Received ME, PPR request from SGVO
Nov 15th Medical Done
Dec 2nd Send Documents, Picture, RPRF & PP to SGVO
Dec 17th Decision Made (As per PP)
Dec 19th Decision Made updated in ECAS
Dec 22nd Received Visa from VFS Dhaka
