how much time more can i expect for the initial approval. and as per your reply, is it under AOR1 ??? generally how much time will it take between initial approval and applciation recieved ?? AM asking this question because its an year since i send the application and if the process is still at the starting point.. I am very very tensed and frustrated

Positive news will come soon hopefully. Even sooner for Architects and Doctors. I believe they are prioritizing not only as per MI set number but also prioritizing by NOC. Right now MI-1 is being worked on in bulk. Then after it gets over it could be MI-2/3. SVO say they follow serial. Though in reality this is not true, just today I heard about someone who applied in MI-3, got MR.

Dear Munna Bhai, When did he apply? Did u mention his timeline Please?

He is a General Physician, who applied in November 2011. Received medicals by registered post in last week. Sorry that's all I can tell. I don't know this person but I've heard it from the marketing department person in my organization. I dug up as much info as I could , if I ask more questions, it doesn't look nice. :-X See there is good news for MI-3 too. Inshallah everyone's turn will come soon.

Yes, that is what I mean by priority occupations. Even if Doctor applied later than someone else like a Pharmacist, he/she is more likely to get faster processing than other occupations. From what I have seen (based on previous observations of cases processed):

Ek nomber sthan: Doctor and Architect (Tie) 8)
Dui nomber sthan: Social worker
Teen nomber sthan: Baki sobai

Oh I have no problem if you get some update before me. Please do share, in case you do. Remember you guys are Boss. So chance for early update is higher for you. Inshallah soon all will get nice updates that they're waiting for, Keep having patience or all of us will go crazy as most times I feel it , I know.
