Dear mrk2011,

You may consider sending a CSE stating the situation. When my daughter's medical request was not sent along with our MR, VO did not answer my CSE on this. Then after 3 or 4 days, I made another CSE with reference to my unanswered first CSE, although there is a slab of 28 days to get a reply of any CSE. SGVO replied on my 2nd CSE with attached MR for my daughter.

Just relax and wait, for me they took 5 months to send PPR, so everything is just going to be fine...............
Usually it takes 3 months +/-, wait a month more then consider CSI.

An official passport means the holder is a govt employee. He can not have residency visa on a govt passport as it belongs to govt, not you. You are bound to surrender it to have a personal visa on your own passport. One of by brother left army to get residency of Canada. But you can have visit visa with GO. So think and do accordingly.

Dear Brother

You have to change your official passport to a regular passport. You can easily do it by surrendering your existing passport to the passport office. You will need a NOC from your office. It does not mean that you have to leave your current job. Passport is a travel document. It has got no relation with your govt. job. Yes, of course, as a govt. employee you are entitled to have a official passport, for that you get some advantage while travelling. If you have a regular passport you have to sacrifice those advantages (Hardly matters for you, I suppose !!!). Don 't worry brother. If you have further query please let me know your cell no - I will call you back and In Sha Allah things will be oky....................
