hahahah.good question..but i feel already SGVO is under the influence of strike causing slowness of processing..

Background update issues...

Dear mates,
If any of you receives background update request from VO, I personally think, it is better to attach supporting documents in every applicable situation. I did it for myself and got PPR without any further query from SGVO.

For your info..after 2 months of MR, rprf etc I've received an explanation letter regarding my "Relative in Canada" issue. The problem they shown that when i applied that time my relative was not in Canada (though i passed without that point and from GCMS i saw that the point was not awarded- I don't know why they send this letter after that and when my MR is done). I have explained that and they replied that they will answer me asap. after that I saw my status changed to DM. Now I see no answer

My case is more simple and normal than your. I just only have to update 2 pccs for me and my wife since My residing country and my home town is different country. Beside that!, they dont ask me anything and my ECAS changed to DM last weekend.

About your case, I guess that VO officer already clear our all question of your case before they put a DM "flag" for it. Otherwhile, they replied your email with another question or document update request so dont need so worry about that.

It seem they reply difference email ( in the wait how to send PP to SGVO) to difference applicant and as you know they are on strike also. I guess that would be a reason that we are delayed in receiving PPR email.

Dear mrk2011,

You may consider sending a CSE stating the situation. When my daughter's medical request was not sent along with our MR, VO did not answer my CSE on this. Then after 3 or 4 days, I made another CSE with reference to my unanswered first CSE, although there is a slab of 28 days to get a reply of any CSE. SGVO replied on my 2nd CSE with attached MR for my daughter.
