Can anyone tell me that their status Change to In process recently. How long is going to take from In process to get Passport request


I applied June 2013 and my status take one year to change.

Their is no predetermined time frame, but you should except something between now to 3 months.

I have received a letter recently from the singapore VO. They mentioned that I am in their interview list. Could any body advice me where might be the interview take place? What sort of documents I need to carry with me to face the interview. Thanks so much in advance.

Whats your timeline? Interview means they need comprehensive information and evidences to prove the relationship.

My wife had her re-medical done on June 3, 2014 in Baridhara, Dhaka. The doctor did not give her any documents. She only got the money receipt. They said they would send the report tomorrow directly to SVO. Is it normal?

The date on the letter from SVO is May 12, 2014. The letter says medical to be done within 30 days and her passport to be sent within 60 days. We have to wait for the police certificate that will arrive on the 11th. Then we can send the passport and other papers at the VFS office on June 12.

Are we ok with everything? Or too late?

You are OK. Don't be stressed. Send Passport along with updated Police report if that is what Singapore asked in their letter. This was the same thing that happened in my wife's case too.

To answer you question you are not too late. This is due to 2nd medical, which is valid for another 1 year. SVO can only issue immigration visas up to the validation period of the medical.

To answer you question you are not too late. This is due to 2nd medical, which is valid for another 1 year. SVO can only issue immigration visas up to the validation period of the medical.

I am not sure if VFS is needed at all since you are able to courier your papers directly to SVO. (Someone please verify this information and correct me if its not fully correct)

In my opinion VFS is better choice as it would be their responsibility and they also will check you photo size, forms are properly filled up etc which you wont have if send directly.

Plus they will notify you as well as give you a tracking number through which you can track your PP though you will have it in courier service too. In my view SVO already has a process with them established and known to them but if deviate by sending DHL then will treat I don't know so I didn't take any chances and took the known route; but that's just view

When it goes to "In Process", it means they already arrange instructions for your passport and other documents. If you do not receive an email within a few days, then they must have mailed you a letter. I am not sure if your medical and police certificate are older than 1 year, from today. Then you will be asked for both.
A police certificate takes about 10 days in Bangladesh. So my suggestion is you apply for it today.

ya seems like that's all i can do..Nothing yet since Status change to In process… My status change on May 28 ..anyone here in the same stage...

In most cases between 1-60 days but sometimes it takes over 6 months depending on the case and the person processing it. Hope you will get soon.
