Hello Goodman,
I was wondering if I should apply for a GCMS now or is it too early to do so? Also, should we send any kind of letter as proof of relation or change of address to SVO? Just to bring the file into their attention!

Hi,
How do you know If you'r file been transfered to the SVO or not?
I mean I got a mail that the sponsorship approved and there they said they have sent the the file to SVO at the same day.So how long it gonna take to reach there and how do I know it.

thanks in advance.

If you get a letter stating that Sponsorship is approved and that they are sending it to Singapore, then most likely it goes there within a week or so. Unfortunately Singapore does not send out letter saying they have received your file. I did not receive any notification from Singapore.

After files moves to Singapore, you can except to hear nothing for 4-6 months. Then depending on who is reviewing your file, you may get notification if anything is missing in the file.

It seems to early to apply for GCMS. After the files moves to Singapore give it 6 months before applying for GCMS. Because you may not get helpful information if you apply for GCMS before then.

It appears to be SVO is moving a little faster than before. We heard a few good news in the forum over the past week. Everyone please update the fellow forum members with your application process, gives us all hope.

Where are the Bangladeshis? Any news anyone?

I applied for my wife this March..VO received file at the beginning of April.

I gave a try for TRV. Once before applying for RP application and another time just this month. Got rejected both the times. She's in study..Still thy are saying like " no employment history"/ tie in native country.

I saw one of my colleague's case..his wife got TRV in the middle..

Now nothing in hand , except to wait..Just thought to share with you guys

Sorry to hear the TRV refusal. My wife also got refused the first time saying that 'purpose of visit not clear, tie in Canada too strong, means of financial support'. I just applied for TRV again couple of days ago. This time took care of all the lacking they found in the previous application. Really hoping that we get it this time. If you don't mind, would you like to share what kind of documents you submitted for the TRV. What was your wifes purpose of visit? What is her current situation? Did you just show that she is a student? Did you show any assets in her name in BD? Sorry to ask, just wondering. Because a relative of mine managed to get his wife a TRV just by showing that she is a contract employee at a firm in BD.

Hi Nazmus,

Yes she's doing Masters..so showed paper from Uni..Purpose said like - just a visit after the ongoing semester. I showed some FDR against here. Yea, I think that's the lacking..I think they prefer being employed.

Good luck for you..

I am sure your file would move soon too. It seems, files does not move in a first sent - first reviewed manner. People applied before me are still waiting. People applied after me got it before me.

Just make sure to check mail/ e-mail so that you don't miss a thing. Also, keep an eye on ECAS too.
