I think u want to know when u can withdraw the money from the account? right? well, u can withdraw the money right after next day u took the statement.
Is it mandatory to send "Proof of Funds" with my application packagae? Can I send the "Proof of Funds" later to VO?

About POF,

Let, we have to show Tk 13 lacs in our account. Is it required to show it from principal applicant's account? If 50% of the amount is in principal applicants account and 50% is in spouse's account, will it be ok? We need bank solvency certificate, right? if there is no problem with 50% of the amount in principal applicants account and 50% in spouse's account, then should the 2 "bank solvency certificates" be issued in the same date?

Dr Hasib

is it okay?

OP6 says: You must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your dependants after you arrive in Canada. You cannot borrow this money from another person.

yes it is ok..POF can be either in principal applicant's name or in accompanying spouse name or joint. Please note that, if spouse doesn't accompany with PA then it won't be accepted
By the way, if VO finds out that money is is borrowed from someone, then there is a great chance of getting rejected.

Hasib,

where is this written that PoF can be of husband's? your husband's money isnt yours. he can deny anytime to give you his money. your money is yours, you cannot deny yourself to give yourself the money that is owned by you. simple logic !

How does VO varify the source of fund? As we are really borrowing the money from our parents. Is there any way to convince them? Will we send any extra documents which will help to convince them? And what will be more reliable to them- money in current A/c, savings A/c, or in FDR?

I think VO won't verify the source of money, cos its obviously from your salary they will think . But they will ask for your Bank Statement again and see the transaction. Its very important to keep the transaction of money in your account based on your monthly salary around the whole time and you have to maintain the balance that you showed in the previous statement.

Dear jnathan,
Hasband's money will be considered as wife's money if only he agrees to accompany her to canada ;)
by the way, this issue has been resolved by CHC NDVO's reply email to a perticular applicant:

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

The amount of funds you need to have in order to settle in Canada depends on the size of your family. The funds must be available to you and transferable to Canada. They must be unencumbered by debts or other obligations.

Number of family members
Funds required

1:$11,086
2:$13,801
3:$16,967
4:$20,599
5:$23,364

Acceptable proof of funds are:

-bank accounts in your name or the name of your accompanying spouse/common-law partner;

-cashable investments in your name or the name of your accompanying spouse/common-law partner;

-cashable fixed deposits in your name of the name of your accompanying spouse/common-law partner.

Not acceptable are
:

-bank accounts in someone else's name;

-bank accounts which are joint in your name and someone else (other than your accompanying spouse/common-law partner);

-bank accounts in the name of your spouse who is not accompanying you to Canada ;

-property valuations;

-vehicle valuations;

-jewellery valuations.

You are not required to carry your funds in cash when you arrive in Canada. You are, however, required to show documentary evidence that you have the funds available (in bank accounts or cashable investments), and that they can be transferred to Canada.

A port of entry officer in Canada may seek to confirm these funds before granting you permanent residence along with your dependants.

If you have arranged employment in Canada, you do not have to meet these financial requirements. Arranged employment means that you have an offer of indeterminate employment from an employer in Canada. You must be either currently working in that employment on a work permit in Canada, or have been issued a labour market opinion has must have been provided by the Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC). In order to be exempt from the minimum funds requirement, the offer of employment must be genuine, the employment must not part-time or seasonal, the wages offered must be consistent with the prevailing wage rate for the occupation, and the working conditions must meet generally accepted Canadian standards.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

CHC ND and CHC Singapore has huge difference when it comes to evaluating the documents.
I have searched every lines of OP6 and CIC's website, I havent found anywhere that Husband's money can be shown as PoF. The simplest way is telling the husband to giveaway his money to his wife.

thanks, janathan for your comments. There are differences between "CHC ND and CHC Singapore has huge difference when it comes to evaluating the documents."

Yes, I have never heard of that and I found no specific instructions in OP6 what Dr. Hasib concluded.The principal applicant must show an account or a joint account on their(principal applicant and spouse ) name can be a solution .

If we can't show Husband/wife's money as POF then how can we claim points for spouses' educational qualification, how can we claim points for spouse's relative livinig in canada? we can becasue husband/wife is accompanying the PA
Husband is neither required to giveaway his money to wife(vise versa) nor required to open a joint account. As i told before, spouse is required to accompany the PA if spouse's money/assests need to be considered as POF.
