Hi there Gaulov. Thanks for starting this thread. I am in B'lore too, and am quite interested in moving to Canada. I've got my IELTS and WES done (my spouse's too), but haven't created an EE profile yet - am waiting for my PG Dip. cert to arrive. (NOC - 2171)GAULOV said:Lets share our numbers with each other, mine is 8861464407,let's help each other out, do not misuse the numbers
I fit into NOC 2171, but there is certainly an overlap with 2174 as well - you know how the software world works! designations are generic, but roles and responsibilities are something else .GAULOV said:Hi Shashi thanks for replying i pmed you.
I am NOC 2173, whats yours and your wifes ielts score please ?
Hi Ramakrishna! Glad to see more Bangaloreans (i.e., namma Bengaluru folks!) on this forum. I agree with you - most of us certainly don't need an agent or a consultant for Canadian PR. The process is quite straightforward and the wealth of information you get here on this forum is sufficient to take us through.mramakrishna said:Hi Guys,
This is Ramakrishna from Bangalore. Looking for Canada PR VISA. Actually i just started getting all information about Canada PR VISA from couple of days back.
I got some confidence that i will be able to do my process on my own with out taking any consultancies help.
Please don't go to any consultancies, unless you do not have time.
this forum is very very helpful to all members who are new to canada PR process.
Hey San, I guess I had just about finished typing my last post when yours came inrams2me said:Hi Folks,
I am from Bengaluru as well. I am in Canada since 2012.
Let me know you guys need any details on EE .
Note: EE status: background check in progress

San
You dont need WES to start your EE application. In fact you dont need any documents to start your profile. But assuming you get an ITA as soon as you create your profile, you will need all documents ready to be submitted within 90 days, which is rather difficult. Also you can not change anything once you get an ITA.samishg said:Hi Guys,
This is Samish. I too am from Namma Bengaluru!!. I will be writing my IELTS this November. My NOC is 0911. I have one question here. My CRS score is coming about to be 380 (checked in the CIC website, assuming IELTS band of 7.5 to 8 ). In the 17th draw, the cut off score was 450 (again as per the CIC website). Though the score requirement is decreasing over the months, I am keeping my fingers crossed.
I have one more question. This is regarding the ECA. I still have not got my credentials assessed by WES. My question is can I start the process of ECA after I get the ITA, or is it mandatory to have the ECA in hand during applying initially.

Samish
All the best Vivek for the IELTs. Hope you achieve your desired score.viveksegu said:Hi Guys,
I in the EE pool since April 2015. CRS 416 with IELTS: L8.5 R9 S7.5 W6.5
I am writing my IELTS in Nov again to increase my Writing score. If I get a 0.5 more, my points will increase to 473.
I have read a lot of topics on this forum, it looks like its very unlikely that CRS scores will go below 450 this year. But I am hoping I wrong.
