Personally I would not withdraw. You might consider calling the call centre. Post a question "would you withdraw your application?" that might spark some interest. Otherwise keep a good record of all the steps you took to fix the problem. You have heard from three people with the similar problem so the law of averages would show there are many more.

Someone is advising me to withdraw the application completely since they haven't started processing yet and re-send it. I would like to know your thoughts on this.
Ignore "someone". There is no need to withdraw your app.

I did the same mistake when I was applying for PR under FSW category. I know it's a different category but the concept might be the same. I did not do anything. Later on the process, they ask me to update some forms and that form was included. I updated it and I'm a PR now.

DO NOT WITHDRAW YOUR APPLICATION. The best thing that you can do is email them and when your file got transferred to your VO, email them too (if no reaction from CPC). End of story.

Yes and yes. If you're already in the system, things are already rolling, I'd also advise not to withdraw. I certainly didn't withdraw and PR app already has the 'third line'. I'd like to think that the cic sees these types of errors fairly often.

I'll post if we get any progress.
