Made previous claims for refugee protection in Canada or at a Canadian visa office abroad, in any other country(ies) or territory(ies), or with teh United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) ?

Does this question mean that you have to specify if you had ever applied/claimed for REFUGEE in any country? Or they mean that only if you had applied in Canada?


If you had ever applied as Refugee in any other country, then does it have a negative impact on your Canada PR application ? or there is no Impact at all.

Will it delay the background check? or some other process

OR they are asking this information for their information purpose only.
