In process:)additional doc request@SINGAPORE

I submitted my full docs to Singapore on 10 March. I got my status changed to "in process" since 21 September showing started processing on 20 Sep. SINGAPORE VO issued a letter on 20 Sep for additional submission of official post secondary transcripts for myself & spouse which I didnt included with my initial submission. At this time submitted the originals in sealed envelop which is received by VO on 4 Oct. Please advise my present situation. What about my b/ground check?experience & education verification? Supposed to get medical request?

The b/ground checks usually take 4-6 months, provided the docs r complete on file. Since u have just submitted your transcripts -- kindly prepare to wait a few more months.

U'd only know that your b/ground check is over when u get your Meds. Whereafter, your Security Checks would commence.

In process means - it's going on.

I am an 2006 Applicant

Hi

Can u please tell me are there any updates for 2006 applicants, my application started processing on Nov6, 2006. But till now there is no clue, will it be coming or not, i also got married between this time and sent all the documents + processing fee to add my husband in my application. Also visited CIC, Delhi but no answer.
This is really unfair, new applications are getting their application in 6 to 12 months and we people are still waiting from so many years.

Please if anyone can help. I hope wait for all these years will bring us good news someday, hopefully ::)

Hi Harneet,

I am in Same boat. Even 2004 applicant are not getting any reply.

So only thing left is Wait. Wait...

Hope...

thanks to those who brought up this thread again, i actually asked about this on a thread I created but no one responded :(

thank you too, qorax for such information :)

to everyone here, i do have a question - my e-cas shows "In Process", we are done with our medicals and after a case specific enquiry to Buffalo Visa office, their reply is that they have received the results of our medical exam.

does this mean that they are done with the security checks? or are they just starting?

thanks in advance to those who can enlighten me on this matter. and please don't give me a negative rating for this, i just want to know. :D

As your meds reach the CHC, your security checks commences. And u get the PPR once the same is done, as well as the Meds r returned "seconded" from Ottawa.

Qorax

thank you for coming back and always patiently answering our queries!
it gives me hope that PPR will be soon.
in your opinion, would residing in the philippines and then my husband in Canada for over 1 year be a simple straightforward security check? we have not been to any other country, no criminal record, not even a traffic violation :D
