dear sir,
i applied to london visa office on 12th may and got my 2nd OR on 19th august and right after getting my 2nd AOR when i checked my e case it showed " in process" and since that time it is same. i have observed that in most cases after gettind 2nd AOr the e case shows "received by VO". so plz tell me why in my case it is showing "in process".is it normal situation or not?and when should i expect to receive medical? i m from pakistan. plz guide me as i am bit confused

"In process" is good... Means your B/ground Check is going on.

Need to know how much points i will get from Education.

10+2 = Full time after that

2 year Diploma in Pharmacy = Fulltime

3 year Bachelor in Computer Application = distance mode from IGNOU , New Delhi

2 year Master in Business Administration = Distance mode from ICFAI University .Dehradun.

My both the Distance university is UGC Approved .

Please let me know how much points for my education ?

As per my knowledge, CIC grants u full marks for DLPs if they r obtained from Govt. Recognized Univs/Insts - one's which r established by an Act of the Parliament, or Orgs which r Deemed to be Univs.

AFTER THIS i recived 2nd AOR nd after one week i recived a varification call fro CHC ISLAMABAD in month of MAY nd my e-case stauts is yet now recived by VO,even my 12th month is completed now in 21 oct,thats y i m little bit worry abut my application,would u like to tell me some thing about my case sir, i will be really greatfull to u. Unfortunately your b/ground check is still on. There's nothing much could be done at this stage except that u may intermittently write to your VO, requesting for a Case Progress Update.

Is it a good idea to request them for using positive discretion (he is only one point short) and accompanying a proof that he is taking french classes (claiming 1 point for french speaking) and in addition registering for a IELTS test and submitting proof for registeration instead of waiting couple of months for the results and then requesting High commission with
the updated results"

Dear Qorax, I seriously need your response on my case as i applied for FSW1 in may 2009, got my first AOR 23rd of July 2009 and sent my full docs 0n 7th of September 2010 and received a request for additional docs in November 2009 which was swiftly dispatched to my Visa office first week in December 2009 and did not get to hear from my visa office till 28th of April 2010 when my Application suddenly moved from received by visa office to " In process" till now and recently sent a case specific enquiry to my visa office to know why the delay in the processing of my application. My question goes, Could you please analyse it to me whether my application was neglected or going through a kind of back ground check i know nothing about as i have never traveled out of my country before? Your swift response would be appreciated. Thanks.

1. Ghana has an usual delay in processing.
2. U have a queue in every stage - BFD to BFD.
3. Not security, but b/ground checks would be On.
4. Trackitt would give u a timeframe for your CHC cases. Check there.
5. I guess, it'd take 2 yrs at least.

That was for u, not your brother.

If a negative decision has been made, it's extremely difficult to overturn it, unless the VO made mistake. With points it's sometimes possible - but it doesn't seem so with your Bro's case.

No, another IELTS will not work out for him now. I'm afraid he has to reApply.
