Hi Qorax,

I need help. I received 2nd AOR from NDVO on 28th March. Till today there is no communication from them, my status just shows as application received. Second line says Started processing your application on 22nd October. I am MI3 applicant. How much more time do you think it may take for medicals.

I sent a case specific query as six months have passed and there is no reply for that as well. Its been 30 days that I have sent mail.

Please suggest.

Thanks.

Dear forum members,
I have applied for FSW 7241(Electrician) on November 1st 2011. I have submitted all documents with the application. Today they have sent a mail for a call in interview in Delhi visa office. Could you please share any experience of interview. They asked for form 16 , salary slips etc.. I have left my job few months after applying for Canada migration. Since it was a proprietary firm, they have n't paid salaries through bank, No PF deducted so far. So it is difficult to obtain.
Help me by providing some ideas about how will be the interview and what would be the questions?. All other document I have already submitted with the application. Even though they demand it again. Please share the information on this behalf. It is very urgent ...friends

Thanks in advance

Hi
please check your Inbox..... I hope your interview was good.....thanks

Hi just a quick question, if the person who is being sponsored has only lived in one country all their life and their police clearance came back with nothing, does it still take long to do the background checks?

thanks

Hi Qorax,

Today I received a mail from NDVO asking to undergo medicals and submit RPR Fees and Passport. I have 2 questions -

1. I am in Singapore right now on a project, can I undergo medicals in Singapore instead of India?

2. How can I send passport to New Delhi while I am in Singapore? Will I be able to submit passport in Canadian embassy in Singapore?

Please help me to understand these questions. Really appreciate your early reply.

Thanks in advance.

1. Yes u can... anywhere in the Globe.
2. No u can't. It has to go to ur VO. And for India it has to be carried 'by hand'.

News Release — An Immigration Plan that works for Canada: More immigrants who are already working in Canada to be admitted through Canadian Experience Class

Ottawa, October 31, 2012 —
The Government of Canada will maintain record levels of immigration to support economic growth in 2013, Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney announced today.

"“Our Government's number one priority remains economic and job growth,”" said Minister Kenney. "“Newcomers bring their skills and talents, contribute to our economy and help renew our workforce so that Canada remains competitive on the world stage.”"

According to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)'s 2012 Annual Report to Parliament on Immigration tabled today, CIC plans to admit a total of 240,000 to 265,000 new permanent residents in 2013, for the seventh straight year. This represents the highest sustained level of immigration in Canadian history.

In particular, the 2013 Immigration Levels Plan makes room for the rapid growth in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). The CEC, which was created in 2008, facilitates the transition from temporary to permanent residence for those with high-skilled work experience in Canada, including international students and temporary foreign workers. Admissions under the CEC have increased from about 2,500 people in 2009 to more than 6,000 in 2011, with more expected this year than ever before. In 2013, CIC intends to accept a record high of up to 10,000 permanent residents through this popular program.

"“Immigration plays a vital role in our country's long-term prosperity,”" said Minister Kenney. "“Our 2013 Immigration Plan will build on our economic success by bringing in more of the world's top talent who already have a successful track record in Canada.”"

Every year, CIC consults with provinces, territories and public stakeholders across Canada to develop a balanced immigration plan. Besides stakeholder consultations, the Canadian public is invited to participate through online consultations on immigration levels and mix. This year, for the first time in Canadian history, CIC consulted with key Aboriginal groups.

CIC's 2013 planned admission ranges for other immigration programs will be released in the coming days.

I got medical examined in the last week of July-12, and sent updated police certificate and schedule A (back ground declaration) via courier to London Visa office in the second week of July 2012. Against my enquiry I received reply from LVO (Oct 8, 2012): “Background checks are currently outstanding and we expect these to take at least two months”.
I need your guidance that what to do as two months have passed already from July 12.

Secondly, I want to open foreign currency account as PAK rupees is devaluating day by day and I have irritated by maintaining bank account for proof of fund since 2009. Guide me, which bank and which currency (US or Canadian dollar or EURO) can be safe and advantageous. Residence: Karachi

Thanking you in advance.
Regards

Dear Qorax !

After long Im writing to you concerning my upcoming medical test. As you previously replied to me, CIC issued my medical request few days back and Im planning to take test as soon as possible. But my concern is , CIC web site has mentioned a name of doctor of specific clinic of my home country. when I consulted , they replied me availability of another doctor ( who has been taking medical test since few months ). Is it possible ? is so why CIC has not updated such information. They told me they can show authentic letter of CIC regarding doctors validity of that another doctor.

Could you please suggest me on such issue.

I look forward hearing from you for your quick response.

Regards
