Hi Qorax,

Could you please advise on this.
Me and my wife are on QSW stream. In May 2012 the ecas turned to "in process". After that they asked for my wife's FBI. We did not submit it with the application because she had been in the states for less than 6 months that time. Now It is more so we sent the FBI clearance months ago. I emailed Ottawa due to Buffalo closure and they said: "You application has been verified and is currently in process. We have received your spouse's FBI certificate and are currently working on security checks. The delay on the website is approximate (15 months) and starts from when we receive your application".
Do you know when this security check started and how long it may take as status may expire in few weeks?

Usually that e-Cas signifies that ur b/g & security checks stand completed... and ur PPR would be arriving anyday.
-Obviously it also means that ur meds r cleared.

Ur 'eligibility check' is complete & then they have commenced ur b/ground checks on 28/3/2012.

i m new to this forum.i am fsw jun 2007 applicant in chc islamabad pakistan.file xfered to london in jan 2011.in april 2011 the chc london told me that ur file is waiting for review by an IO.Sir i dont know whether it was initial review or final review they were waiting for.
Sir,any idea about my B/G check or security check.i did't get medical yet.

You are very welcome.

Basically same BS you are coming from you can apply to Canada and get the picture.
The CIC bureaucrats have no greater competence or zeal for work than their Pakistani counterparts, with only difference being in Pakistan you can probably give few goats in exchange for expedited processing of your inquiry but in Canada only highly positioned crooks can afford bribing officials and get them do their bidding fast (which they nicely call "lobbying" for "interests").

Visa officer comments:
Feb-212 – mr, marriage que, pcc, marriage photos, RPRF requested- PPT not requested as PA lives in UK, restriction- 0,
FEb-2012 – request mr, marriage que, marriage photos, RPRF, PPT, after all requirements met – pending crim
Feb-12 – FOSS check – nothing adverse, got 71 point when assessed under IRPA, foreign travel on file, POF-satisfactory, will ask for marriage photos as was married 4 months before application.
Jan-12 – FOSS review completed: Work experience and education: docs appear genuine, civil docs on file- appear genuine photos on file- complaint pending –PPT, Med, RPRF, PCC- file kept in ECU for officer review,,,

What do you think? When should I expect PPR? – my timeline is on my profile... whats is mean by counterfoil required? background checks over?

Dear qorax.,i have entered 6th month after having my medicals done what do you think could have possibly gone wrong in my procedure..i'd think its rather unusual for an MI3 applicant ....

sir we done our medicals in march and they recieved our medical in 24 april and we send our pp,rprf,why they took so long and tell i more thing i finished my study from australia in hospitlity management why they took so much time pls answer the question

I made inqury to chc and they reply me this Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi .

That is definitely "Initial Review". And if it wasn't finished and you didn't get to "In Process" then your application (as pre-February 2008) will returned and refunded.

Did you send your passport to them by your own self? or did they ask you to send it?

Because as i can understand, they may ask you for more requested documents, which mean the file still in process.

So how come, they asked you to submit your passport ? and they still need more clarifications and documents

Dear slavasz,,,Sir,,,my e-case status still appears as "in- process"stating that we started processing ur case on june 19,2007.In December2008 they sent me a letter where they asked about my continued interest and i answered with YES.
Sir what is ur opinion about my case as i mentioned above.
