U shouldn't contact your VO unnecessarily... it bugs up the whole system.
PPR usually arrives after 3-5 months of meds. Around the same time the e-Cas reflects 'MR' [sometimes not done as well]. Relax & hold your horses... if u do not hear from the CHC in 4 months - contact them.

Hi qorax,

My VO (Buffalo) received my meds June 13, 2011 and I've been sending them an email once every month since then ... It would be very disappointing for me if it turns out my PPR has been delayed because of this ... :(

But it's always a status inquiry email (not a case specific inquiry through CIC website) ... they always reply same or next day with the exact same message: pending background info from other govt. offices

P.S.: I requested CAIPS and sent a fax for the first time to CSIS 3 weeks ago ... waiting for a reply from both

Hello Mr Qorax,
They wrote it on the document checklist that, employers full adress, phone number, fax, email and website should be on the letter head. But my company does not have website address, does this means i can be disqualified or trouble?
Please attend

No issues.

Hi Qorax!

Need your expert advice once again.

Case details are :

First application - FSW MI 1
NOC 4131
Applied in March 2010
AOR - June 2010
Full document submission to New Delhi VO - October 2010
Principal Applicant - wife
ECAS - Decision made and Application received (2 status's). Address also missing.

Since pre june processing timings were extended to 15-16 months, and with your guidance, I decided to apply under latest ministerial instructions and succeed in obtaining PER. Just because of you Qorax I got this PER and I'm so grateful to you.

Second application - FSW MI 3
NOC 0631
Applied in August 2011
PER - November 2011
AOR yet to receive
Principal Applicant - Self
ECAS - In process

Like we got two files at VO under each name, would there be any situation that VO can request us to decide which file to process and which one to withdraw. If yes, what would you recommend us to do?

Secondly, whats going on with pre june files? ECAS showing two status's, address missing, need to worry?

God Bless.

They won't ask... As u succeed in one apps - w/draw the other.
Your 2nd apps is likely to see the light in 1yr... before the 1st materializes.

Good luck.

Hello Qorax,

We just had our medicals in the last week of October and the other week saw an update in e-CAS stating Medical results received. Does this mean our medicals went well and that no further tests required? How soon (average) can we expect to receive our passport request?

Thanks!
Jan

Hellow Qorax,
I must say you are a great help indeed. My best wishes to you.
Would you please see my status below and comment?

First application - FSW MI 1
NOC - 0711
Application filed - 13th January 2010
AOR - 2nd March 2010
Full document sent to Singapore VO - 17th june 2010
AOR - 1st July 2010
ECAS - In Process with RBVO.

Pre june processing time is 17 months for SVO, and it will end on 1st December 2011 for my case. But till now I haven't yet get MR. My question is will they ignore my file as my NOC is no more in the current job-in-demand list.

Consulting with my representative, I have filed another application this month.

Second application - FSW MI 3
NOC-2151
Application posted on 5th November 2011
Haven't yet recieved AOR

According to the latest immigration rule, will they start processing this application first? If they take the second file, will they compare this with my first file(as I have mentioned the previous file no in my second application)? Or if they take my first file, will they come to know that I have another application running? As basically I am an architect having experience in construction management too, won't they pick up the NOC in present job-in-demend list for processing in my case?

Waiting for your reply.
Best regards.

hi Qorax!

i have a query.
i recieved my PER on the 16th of November 2011. it said that your application has recieved 'positive final determination of eligibilty'.
i would like to know if
the eligibilty is assessed one more time at the VO stage?
do they match job description and calculate the points one more time?
what happens if i have made a mistake in the generic form? will the ask for fresh forms or the application is rejected?

regards
Ovais

a) They'd Xcheck your both apps.
b) The first one would take longer than the 2nd.
c) They'd be processed simultaneously... but each under it's separate queues.

1. Yes.
2. Yes.
3. A clarification is likely to be asked rather than outright rejection after the PER.

Regrets I haven't understood your query well.
If it's about whether or not u should update your current desig. with the VO -- I'd say it won't affect anything till the time u had already 'qualified' for the processing & had obtained the requisite scores, which very much seems to be in your case.
