PPR usually arrives after 3-5 months of meds. Around the same time the e-Cas reflects 'MR' [sometimes not done as well]. Relax & hold your horses... if u do not hear from the CHC in 4 months - contact them.
My VO (Buffalo) received my meds June 13, 2011 and I've been sending them an email once every month since then ... It would be very disappointing for me if it turns out my PPR has been delayed because of this ...
But it's always a status inquiry email (not a case specific inquiry through CIC website) ... they always reply same or next day with the exact same message: pending background info from other govt. offices
P.S.: I requested CAIPS and sent a fax for the first time to CSIS 3 weeks ago ... waiting for a reply from both
