I am a post june 2010 applicant and my NDVO is New Delhi. NDVO has received my passports, rprf and medicals on 14th july2011. My rprf was encashed on 6th august,2011 but my e-cas status has not been updated yet with"Medicals Results have been received". Why they have not updated yet?? I asked my doctore and he confirmed me the results were absolutely fine. When can I expect my pp's back with visa??
regards
CIC will NOT ask for updated PCC's if you no longer live in that country after obtaining the last PCC from that country. You may be able to prove this by showing cancelled visas and exit stamps in your passport and no more entry stamps to that same country except for a few minor visits.darwaish said:Dear Qorax,
Please have a look at my timeline given below
Application received 15/1/11
PER 15/3/11
RBVO 05/4/11
In Process 28/4/11
Request for docs from VO 04/05/11 i.e. POF, updated sch. 1 form and PCC for my stay abroad
Additional documents sent (1&2) 12/6/11 (POF, updated sch. 1 form)
Additional documents sent (3) 11/07/11 (PCC for stay abroad)
My question is.... what are the probabilities that, here onwards, VO asks for an updated PCC of my stay abroad.
I am asking this because, last time, it took me 10 weeks to get PCC through concerned embassy and if, with the med request or at some later stages, VO again asks for it then it would hold my case processing for another 2-3 months.
Please share your expert opinion.
Thanks

No problem. You are always welcome.darwaish said:Thankyou Paris
Spousal Applications, under the FC stream, usually concludes in 6-8 months, with most VOs. Send them a mail asap.love bird 43 said:hi qorax,

Your VO may ask u for another PCC of that country [60-65% chance], even if u had left that place long back, in case your next stage comes-up pretty late, say 8-12 months hence. I know it doesn't make sense, 'coz your last PCC should be the end-all given that u no more reside there -- but, unfortunately, CIC opines otherwise.darwaish said:Dear Qorax,

That's very likely.paris_33 said:Dear Master Qorax,
A small inquiry, if you can answer the following question:-
A few days back, I received a response from the CSIS through the mail in response to an inquiry I sent them by fax inquiring about my security screening checks. CSIS responded that they have received the screening request from CIC August 2 2011 on my application, that it is in process and that they do not know how long it might take them to give an advice to CIC back. I was wondering if all of this means CIC completed its own checks and that once the CSIS sends its reply to CIC I will get the PPR.
For your information, CIC requested CSIS for a security check more than 1 month after sending my medical results and about 3 weeks after ECAS update MEDICAL RESULTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED.
Your opinion in this regard would be highly appreciated.
