I applied for GCMS last month and got a reply two days back.

It's 73 pages and the bottom line is:
-Passed medical,
-Passed eligibility
-Passed criminality
-Undergoing security checks (Security Screening), which I don't know when did it start or when it will finish.

There was a due date on 1-June-2013. I don't know what does it mean, but it seams that already missed it

I had a interview this week, which went on normal, however when i was asked for documents concerning latest job, i gave them form 16 , tax returns and appointment letter. Unfortunately i dont now how come i messed up and didnt give them the salary slips and latest referance letter with JD although i had these with me. However at the end of the interview VO told me that we will contact you in 10 to 14 days. After 2 days of my interview, my Ecas shows an added line " We started processing your application on XX XX XX13". Before this it was only showing that "we received you application on XX XX XX13".

I will really appreciate your feedback that what could be the outcome here. My interview went normal, and VO had some concerns regarding my employment which i cid clear. They also kept from me my original form 16 , tax returns ,appointment letter, PCC and 6 photos. (PCC and photos were kept at very start of the interview). Visa officer was a very sweet Indian Lady

Send missed attested Docs (letters+JD etc) to VO immediately by courier with all your file details although (started processing xxx...) it is a positive sign. NEKeol

Thanks Nekoel. I do appreciate your reply. Only issue that comes in my mind is that if i send them the salary slips now, they might create a new issue with it. As why was i not able to provide these at the interview time. I feel little upset that why didn't i gave them at that point, unfortunatley even VO also never asked for those specifically, although she took a thorough look on the tax returns. Regarding referance letter, i thaught they already have a previous one with them.

The interview was going so smooth and i was completely honest and true, had nothing to hide. I had a thorough knowledge of my work which i explained VO and also had a very detailed talk on almost all the aspects, I thaught (stupidity from my part) that Form 16 and Tax return itself should be good enough,since this being a govt. legal document. Just wanted to keep it simple and precise. Forgot to mention you that VO also took original divorce certificate from me as i got divorced druing the process of my application. Earlier i had sent the notarized copy of that.

If you still feel that i should send original or notarized copies let me know and i will mail them. Thanks gain for you input on it

just chill and wait for ppr.
it is vo's responsibility that what docs are required.

this is your decision, I agree with you. It is positive sign that they have started processing, I hope just all is OK and they will not ask you again, but on the safe side. Ok just keep the things/papers ready with u, for future if they will ask then it will not take time. if u have to send then only notarized no need for the originals.
