Dear qorax, i m a MI3 applicant. My timeline is :

App received : 09 Aug 2011
PER received : 04 nov 2011

Last month july , i sent a CSE to LVO and received a reply that 'File is undergoing background checks '

4 days ago , i received a letter from LVO that to submit generic form, background form , travel history, additional proof of employment( though i submit ref letter and contract letter with my application) within 60 days and also told me to give them 4 months . In this situation , i need ur opinion . Can you pls tell what papers i can submit as additional proof as my experience is bd based and there is no payslip system in my employer during my period 5 years ago . Also can you pls tell me ur opinion about my status ? .....thanks a lot in advance......

Medical received line is necessary in ecas b4 it changed to DM?

here is my ecas (changed today)

We received your application for permanent residence on January 21, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 11, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Pretoria office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the Pretoria office on March 18, 2010. The Pretoria office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on November 7, 2011.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I did medicals on June 30th and were sent to London By the DMP. afterwards they requested my passports on July 27, I sent all my family's passport and were delivered to CHC pretoria on 7th August.

I am surprised that the medical received line is not added in the ecas. is it a problem or something. I am very stressed. please your opinion?

Not necessary... but usually it occurs before the 'DM'.

No. Unless u had a/ny issue with obtaining the PCCs.

1. My medicals going to expire 29 oct 2012 and my son on 4 oct 2012 as per caips notes the suprise is we did mecails on same day the why different expiration dates do you think shall i notified VO about this issue?

2. I have sent three emails to VO to know the status of my application since last two months and upto now i did not receive single reply from VO what shall i do?

3. My BFD is 5th sep 2012 do you think they will send me PPR b4 that date of after. if VO send me passport request by now then London visa office need up to six weeks to stemp visa. if my passport request comes late then there will be very short time to land or they will request new medicals.

Please give your valuable suggestion.

Hi Master Qorax,

I had PPR last July 26,2012 received in LA last Aug.8,2012, just worried after a week I emailed them with some correction on my name I provided an affidavit of discrepancy and my birthcertificate as well. Do you think it will be a problem ? still waiting for my passport back. Hope i did the rigth thing. anyway my name is Ma.______ in passport which is abbreviation of Maria _____ but in their records as well as in the forms I put Maria due to my Canadian Work permit and Visa that they issued to me last 2007 and later in 2011 they corrected my name as Ma. same with my passport now I had changed everything to Ma. so thats the reason I provided them the affidavit. Do you think SIR i did the right thing , they never emailed back...I had no clue...Pls. help...

Hi,

1. It's not required... the CAIPS might be erroneously logged.
2. U, unfortunately, have no choice but to wait.
3. U may get it, if u r lucky, why not? But, on a practical side - the time is too short - u might be heading for reMeds. However I wish that ur PPR comes thru asap... I'm praying for that!
