Hi Qorax.

I just want to ask you about our CAIPS (taken last Feb) in relation to background checks. Our CAIPS mentioned that our MED STAGE is MO1 (for for persons) and our SEC CRIM is passed. Is there more background check to be done for us? The BDEC is still blank. Our BFD is November 16, 2011. I think immigration issues are currently delaying our processing. We are just awaiting our PPR. How long should the background check be made? It has already been 6 mos from our medicals. I hope you can explain it to me. Thank you very much. ;D

Thanks for the awesome info you have provided... its been of great help for newbies like me...I still have a doubt and wish that u could help me with that...I had applied to cic under NOC 1233 on the 12 of sep 2011 and recieved my uid on the 13th of December. I received an email from {re-delhi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca} on the 21st of January saying that my application has been received in Visa office in New Delhi ....could you please tell me what is the next step ahead of me and what is the approximate time it could take.... please reply...thanks

1. Sometimes they don't send a separate AOR but club it with a docs request or any other commn.
2. U could have missed that commn.
3. As long as u have a file ref. No. - u r good. U don't actually need the 2nd AOR.

Around Sep-12 u could be asked for meds, or receive a request for addnl docs somewhere earlier.
