How long does BGC normally takes, everything has been completed from
medical to biometrics to criminality etc… I was informed by IRCC that AIP was also passed more than a month ago but I’ve yet to actually receive that letter. The last letter I received was PAS one month ago but nothing since then. IRCC told me I’ve passed the first stage of the BGC only two remaining but my thing is what timeframe do these normally take anyone on here been through similar please your input would be suffice.

My background check started in December 2023 and finished in June 2024. When did you apply? For now, people who applied in February have started to get their final decision and P1

Yea that is correct. My application was transferred to local office last November for scrutiny. They reached out a month later and requested some documents and we provided them, they didn’t send any updates for over 9 months and now it seems to be moving again. Just wanted to see what’s the timeline for BGC because that’s all that’s left I think.

I see! I hope more people commenting so you get to see the trend.
