Hi, as per my understanding they are probably processing the background check. You might get a 'DM' soon. Keep an eye on your ecas.

Any idea how long for the background check? The last document they asked is the police certificate and that was in july almost 2 months now since we submitted the police clearance and til now no update. Thanks

In my case, it took a month or so after BC changed to 'not applicable'. Though i submitted my medical n PCC upfront. Hopefully you would get to hear positively from cic in a month too..

7-26 aor, 8-30 me passed &BC Not applicable, 9-20 additional documents review has changed to we do not need any document from being reviewed, anyone can tell me what is next in my application. thx!

hi there,
i was a bit confused i was applied trv online on 15th of may 2017 and i have done my biometrix on 18th of may, at that time processing time is 24 days only but till now i did not get paper my status is background check from last 4 months so, why the embassy did not give me the solid answer yet, will they grant me visa or not?
and why they are taking so much time?
anyone who have idea regarding this?

Reading through this thread, there does not seem to be a particular trend (time wise) from Background check to PPR.

On a side note, someone I know got their PPR in 18 days from submitting the PR application online - simply unbelievable! FWIW, they applied from the US.

i think it is all good.. it is just that Outland is processed faster than Inland as per recent trends.

so what you said will they grant me visa or not if yes then very well but if they don't then why they are taking too much time its not understandable....>
