Bacholers is not relevant but Masters degree is relevant, Can i apply PR?

Hi All,

I am 35 years old. I have 6 years of experience as 'Software Tester' and I want to apply for Canadian PR under the category 'NOC 2173 Software engineers and designers'. I am about to get my WES done.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree: 'Bachelors in Arts' (3 Years degree)
2. Masters degree: 'Master's in Computer Applications' (3 Years degree)

As per the requirements mentioned online, in order to apply under ' 'NOC 2173 Software engineers and designers' category a 'Bachelors in Computer' degree is required. My bachelors degree is not relevant, however I have done Masters in the relevant field. So will they consider my application based on my Master's degree and relevant work experience? or am I not eligible to apply for PR?

Educational qualifications have no bearing during the application processing with CIC. Any which ways you are absolutely eligible to apply.

You mean i can apply for express entry even if my experience ia not related to my bahelors degree? I am a dental graduate, worked as a dentist for 2 yrs and teacher as one year... can i claim points for the 3rd year as a teacher?

You can apply for the PR as long as you have sufficient work experience and minimum education requirements. Even I feel stream is not a matter here.

You mean even if my experience isnt related to my bachelors degree?
Im a dentist and worked as a science teacher
