Good day to all!!!

Just want to ask guys, me and my wife already have visas stamped on our passport, we have a 1 1/2 old baby, and we have just recieved her passport a while ago. first plan namen is to not take our baby to canada, but we changed our plan so sa ngayon gusto na namen syang isama. nung pinadala namen yung passport namen sa visa section, not included dun yung sa baby namen so sa amin lang yung meron, sa appendix A naman na pinass namen, andun naman name nya.. sa "confirmation of PR" na narrecieved namen, non accompanying na yung baby namen. how can we process our baby's visa and pr.. can someone help me.. my wife is the principal applicant, do we need write to visa section na isasama na namen yung baby namen? my wife is the principal applicant(fedreal skilled worker) do we need to send back her "confirmation of permanent residence" to visa section para mapalitan na isasama na yung baby namen? and how long will it take to process our baby's visa??

hope you can help me guys,

thank you so much!

Was the baby born before the PR was granted?

It doesn't matter if the baby was born before or after the PR visa was issued.

They must add their new baby to the PR application before they come to Canada. If they come to Canada first, they will never be able to sponsor their baby for PR.

So, it's the actual act of "landing" that's the cutoff point rather than the end of the formal application process?

However, you saw where I was going with this...

Maybe I should have asked, was the baby born before the application was submitted? The OP information is hard to follow.

yes our baby was born before the issuance of pr. in my wife's pr our baby's status is non-accompanying, it was the first plan that we made. but as i have said, we change our plan, so we would like to our daughter to accompany us. should we write to the visa section about our request?

thanks guys for the reply...

you can write in to the visa office and declare that you want to include your new child. theres an specific enquiry portion and use that link. my child was born this year and i wrote to them twice, first no reply and recently i did again and surprisingly they replied after a day.. requesting me to submit photo, birth cert & pay processing fee then they claim once they receive all that they'll send me a letter so my child can go for medical.
i read in one thread that a couple had their visa already but was asked to returned their passport cause they fail to declare the new child. meaning they've sent their enquiry when they received their visa minus the new child.. hope this infor helps.
as for me i am in no rush just make sure all are in order. my VO is SG and its very slow..
