Hello, I'm hoping that someone can clarify a few things for me. My husband (American) and myself (Canadian citizen) plus our two boys (American born with proof of Canadian citizenship) will be moving back to Ontario. I am in the midst of filling out the B4 and B4A forms.

My questions:

(1) Can my husband list our children's belongings on his form? (crib, toys etc)
(2) Do I need to list my belongings on a separate B4 or can we list together?

Thanks

Either together or separately. It does not matter.

Thanks! So even though my kids are considered "settlers" because they are Canadian citizens my husband can list their belongings under his B4 form? I thought maybe my belongings might be taxed since I am a returning Canadian.

As a returning Canadian if you have an item with a value of more than $10K it should be on your PR spouse's B4. Returning Canadians pay duty/taxes on items worth more than $10 K

Hello everyone.
We are now in the process of listing of goods/personal effects. I am confuse on what form should I use B4 only or with B4A.
No goods to follow.

Hoping for your reply.

Thanks.

I'm not totally clear on the difference myself but we are crossing the border August 1st so I'll let you know. My husband called the border control to ask a few questions and he said they were really nice.
